Welcome to the Calgary Dance Stampede fundraising page!

On April 16-18th, the organizers and participants of the 2010 Calgary Dance Stampede will be opening their hearts to the community with a fundraiser for the Alberta Cancer Foundation held during the Dance Stampede event, held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Calgary.

The Alberta Cancer Foundation is the only charity responsible for raising funds to support Alberta's coordinated cancer research strategy, funding a collaborative and comprehensive program that ultimately improves prevention and treatment for all cancers. The fundraiser at the 2010 Calgary Dance Stampede will raise donations specifically directed toward cancer screening and prevention in Alberta.

The Calgary Dance Stampede is Canada’s largest and longest running country, swing and line-dancing event, with at least 1,000 people expected to come through the doors over the course of it’s 3 days. In addition to participating in the fundraiser at the Calgary Dance Stampede, you can make pledges directly towards the Alberta Cancer Foundation Calgary Dance Stampede fundraiser on this website! Your support will help the Alberta Cancer Foundation to provide the funding power that is necessary to bring us even closer to fully understanding, treating and preventing cancer that affects people throughout the world including Canadians, Albertans, and people in our own lives.
