Gifts made in memory of a loved one lost to cancer or, in honour of someone currently facing a cancer journey, are a lasting tribute, creating hope and funding innovation and care for the future.

SAMPLE OBITUARY WORDING
If you wish to name the Alberta Cancer Foundation or one of the provincial cancer centres in a printed obituary, the following is an example of wording that can be used:

NOTIFYING THE FAMILY
When you make a memorial gift, a letter can be sent to the family in recognition of your gift. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed and you will receive a tax receipt. All donations may be directed to an area of care that is meaningful to you or you can choose to direct as per the family’s wishes.
