Join us on Saturday, August 19, 2017 as we drag cancer through the mud in the the 5th annual Down & Dirty 5KM Obstacle Course benefiting the Alberta Cancer Foundation. A 5km obstacle course at Sunridge Ski Area, the race will feature a variety of challenges for mud lovers, including hills, lifting, climbing, an 80 foot slip and slide down the ski hill, and much, much more! If you plan on taking part in this event, be prepared get muddy, and have a great time doing it.
This exciting, one-day event will accelerate progress for patients and their families at Edmonton’s own Cross Cancer Institute though donations to the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Thank you for joining us as we work together to make life better for Albertans facing cancer.
Early Bird Registration Fee: $40 until April 17
After April 17th price increases to $50. Early Bird Prize alert: One early bird participant will win back their registration fee! Winner will be announced on our website and contacted by phone or email.
Obstacle Highlight - Giant Airbag + Axe Throwing
The giant airbag will be back again this year! We will also have Jack Axe on site with an axe throwing obstacle.
Kids Course - By Donation
We have a kids course available for toddlers up to age 11 with parental supervision! This course is FREE by donation of any denomination on race day. Registation for Kids Course is available on event day.
Ages 15+ can run the race solo. Ages 11-14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
