Joe's Team Calgary
Join hundreds of athletes as we TRI to conquer cancer! You can DU it! Participate in the Sprint Triathlon or Sprint Duathlon. Participate as an individual or as part of a relay team. As always, the goal remains two victories: the winning feeling of being a participant and the communal spirit of raising money to help others. Our sights are set on raising awareness and dollars for cancer research at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary. As ‘regular Joes’ we all have it in us to do extraordinary things. REGISTER NOW! June 19, 2011 was the launch of Joe’s Team in Calgary. Since then, Joe’s Team Calgary participants have raised over $331,000 through their fundraising efforts. We are the second largest third party fundraiser for the Alberta Cancer Foundation! Together with the Ontario event, Joe’s Team has raised close to $4 million dollars for critical cancer research in Canada.
