The Alberta Cancer Foundation engages in door-to-door fundraising and encourages Edmontonians  to sign up for monthly donations supporting the Cross Cancer Institute. Door-to-door fundraising is one of the most effective and personal ways we can reach out to donors.

Our partner, Donor Direct Consulting, is an energetic group of fundraisers who will be knocking on doors in various neighbourhoods in Edmonton to ask you to become part of Alberta’s cancer-free movement with a monthly pledge. Find out when we'll be in your neighbourhood.

Monthly donors are integral to a stable source of funding for progress in cancer research, prevention, and care taking place right here at the Cross Cancer Institute. Tax receipts for monthly donors are consolidated and delivered once a year. This practice not only lowers administration costs, but is an environmentally-friendly method to track charitable gifts.
