The Pigeon Lake Pedal was founded so that individuals and families could come together and participate in "pushing the cure for cancer". Endorsed by the Alberta Cancer Foundation this "kick off to summer" has raised over a quarter of a million dollars for unique projects in cancer research, treatment and family support. Importantly, it is done in a fun, family orientated manner with everyone joining together to recognize and support those impacted by cancer.
At some point in our lives, we may all face the daunting challenge of having to choose between medical options for ourselves, our family and even our friends. Funds from the 2013 Pigeon Lake Pedal will be directed to the Cross Cancer Institute for Clinical Trial Research that allows patients and their medical team to be involved in cutting edge discoveries with the access to the best cancer treatment, new drugs, promising novel therapy and optimism for the future.

Every $100 raised earns a ticket into the prize draw, held just after the BBQ lunch.
