DESCRIPTION:Toast of the Town is an annual event honouring Edmontonians who have made significant contributions to others in the community in need. \nThe idea for this event started over a cup of coffee. Six guys decided they wanted to make a difference. The Toast of the Town was born – honour good Edmontonians while raising money for a good cause. The Toast was established to recognize and appreciate the oncologists\, researchers\, and staff at the Cross Cancer Institute. \nThe first year honoured long-time Edmonton Oilers Equipment Manager\, Barrie Stafford. \nSince then\, we have honoured Kevin Lowe in 2022 and Cal Nichols in 2024. \nTerry O’Flynn is the 2026 Toast of the Town honouree
