Dear friends and colleagues,
I would like to talk to you about a fund-raising initiative that is close to my heart.
As you may be aware, my son Cameron passed away from sarcoma. Sarcoma is a rare form of cancer that affects the body’s “connective tissues”: nerves, muscles, joints, bone, fat and blood vessels. Sarcoma affects people of all ages, but is more prevalent in children and young adults.
To make life better for sarcoma patients, much more research is needed. My family and I have been working with Alberta Cancer Foundation to raise funds specifically for full-time resources for sarcoma research through an endowment. Together, we will create more moments for sarcoma patients across the province.
Every donation, large or small will make a difference!
How can you help? Rangeland will accept cash and cheque donations online, via this website, as well as in office ; please see Sandy Riediger for details. We will also be holding events throughout the year where you will be given the chance to donate and participate.
Your generosity and large hearts have been very much appreciated in the past. Your continued support means so very much to my family and to all Albertans facing cancer.
