Community events supporting the Alberta Cancer Foundation

Dig Pink Charity Volleyball Tournament 2025

Calgary Academy will host the 17th Dig Pink volleyball tournament this year. Funds from this event will support the Alberta Cancer Foundation’s More Hope fund, which makes a difference for cancer patients across the province. The event will commence on Oct. 23 from and conclude on Oct. 25.
On the surface, Dig Pink is a volleyball tournament, but its impact runs much deeper than sports. Hundreds of students will pack our gymnasium for a pep rally that highlights the importance of altruism. They will spend an entire week reflecting on how breast cancer has impacted their individual lives and how we, as a community, can help make positive change.
Albertans helping Albertans is at the core of everything the Alberta Cancer Foundation (ACF) does. Their very purpose comes from our desire to create more moments for all Albertans facing cancer, no matter where they live or the type of cancer they are facing. From the Canmore mountains to the canola fields in Lloydminster—we support leading edge treatment, care and research that is making a difference for patients with cancer across the province.
