GEDfest celebrates the life of Gordon Edgar Downie, and the music of the Tragically Hip. Gord Downie continues to be a poetic and musical inspiration to the world. At the root of everything he did, Gord Downie embodied courage. We honour Gord by revisiting his powerful words that continue to lend courage to those who need it most.
GEDfest’s mission is to honour Gord Downie’s life and the music of the Tragically Hip, while also giving back to the community through the power of live music and charity. To date, GEDfest has raised nearly $470,000 for cancer foundations in Canada.
With a target of $200,000, help us raise much needed funds for Alberta Cancer Foundation.
